Rotator Cuff Injuries

Injuries to rotator cuff are common in all ages and activities. The rotator cuff is made up of four muscles; supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis.

The rotator cuff has many jobs but two very important ones.  The first job is to act as the brake of the shoulder.  The second important job is to act as a shoulder stabilizer. Each of the muscles has an individual job. All we need to fix common problems is a basic knowledge of where the muscles are and how to shorten and lengthen.
